Upcoming little man

It always seems like the "baby" of the family immediately grows up the moment you find out another one is on the way. Corbin is wanting to do things by himself, he isn't parroting EVERYTHING we say, and he is wanting to "go potty".
I made pumpkin muffins the other morning and went ahead and made a batch for Truman WITH chocolate chips and a whole wheat batch WITHOUT chocolate chips. I knew that Cozette would want chocolate chips but I thought Corbin wouldn't notice the difference and that would leave more for Truman. We gather at the breakfast table and everyone is so excited that we are having muffins! Truman goes on and on about the chocolate chips he sees in his muffins. Corbin is climbing into his seat and begins to say that he has chocolate chips too. He stops himself, carefully examines the muffin, and then looks up at me and says, "Mom, where are my chocolate chips?" I quickly changed the subject and prayed.

Trumanisms

Cozette has definitely been the more dramatic child. Truman is now running a close second:
- The Berthold's came out for supper and Truman had asked Brad to play football with him. Brad had told him that he was going to talk with Granny and PopPaw and would play later. A few minutes later Truman returns with, "Dad, my heart is just LONGING to play football with you!
- Eric Huggins and Jennifer Beckham watched our kids last night. Eric was putting Truman to bed and Truman asked him to read him a story. Eric told him "no" that it was too late. Truman's reply: "I will cry all night long if I don't get a bedtime story."
Needless to say, Eric stood strong through the temptation and Truman went right to sleep. :-)

Christmas

Well, I'm getting back into the swing of things so I'm taking over for Brad! He was having a little too much fun! :-)
Here's an overview of Christmas:
Corbin's favorite gift was the candy and gum. Grandparents will be happy to know that we actually allowed him to eat what he wanted for the first 5 mintues.

Truman and Brad finished this project together. It has been taken apart and rebuilt in numerous ways.

Cozette came up with this idea to dress up like reindeer. We all know that the creative side didn't come from her mother!
