God's alarm
We were awaken Friday morning by a nice clap of thunder. I remember laying there and seeing this flash of light (coming through my eyelids) and then the loudest thunder I have ever heard in my life. I know that sounds clichéd, but I have imperical evidence that it may be true (sorry if I'm using the word imperical incorrectly, just sounds cool). We have all, including children, slept through storms at our house and living on top of a hill, we have had some doozies. Moments following this particular boom, I heard the boys coming out of their room. Once I realized the bright light wasn't THE bright light, I jumped out of bed to comfort Truman and Corbin who were shaking and crying. The best evidence of all is the fact that Cozette, our family's mistress of sleep, came out of her room crying as well. Furthermore, your honor, notice exhibit A below. This picture shows what was left of our exterior phone box. The cover was retrieved 45 ft away with a large crack punched in the center.
Amazing alarm clock from Him who controls thunder and lightning. No snoozing, to be sure.

w00t! You're back! I was seriously getting ready to remove you from my blog list, and clicked and saw you had updated. Lucky you! That was close! ;)
Nice that you've been a year without posting, and you don't even post photos of your kids - but the burned up phone box, that's where the action is.
