Snips, Snails, and control of the water hose
We washed our van yesterday and so of course the kids wanted to "play in the water" (translated: have control of the hose :-).
After a few minutes with the hose Truman leaves and comes back wearing his Darth Vader mask. He immediately places the sprayer right in his face and lets loose!!! He thought it was hilarious!! Who would have ever even thought of wanting to do something like that??? I'm convinced it is the male coming out.
Date Night
I thought this was really interesting about kids and what they really want/need. Last Friday, Cozette decided that it had been a long time since Brad and I went on a date. She proceeded to plan a special evening for us. Of course the evening included them. :-) She set the table and wanted us to get dressed up. We played Blokus (I beat Brad - just a side note ;-) and finished The Last Battle. I was just amazed that already my kids want to know that Brad and I love each other and have fun together. It was important enough that they were willing to plan it. :-)

I'm just learning about all this so we are a little slow on the "updates".
Got back from Mom and Dad's last week. Austin and Zeb were there and the kids had a blast getting to be with them again.
We celebrated Truman's B-day, Nana took them all shopping, went to the Children's Museum and rode bikes. Austin began teaching Cozy to ride a two-wheeler (without the training wheels)!!!
All the cousins.
Corbin on deck for "pin the tail on anything."
Dad actually faced him the right way!
Lawn mower ride with Pawpaw.
Looks like he took out 2 of the candles just on the Inhale!

Nice to have you.
Welcome to the Bertholds' Blog. We are now cool and up to date. Actually, as long as we're on dial-up we will be neither. Even though we'll have to upload our pictures at night while we sleep, we hope this website is entertaining and provides you with nanoseconds of enjoyment! So don't blink... unless you too are on dial-up, in which case you have plenty of time to blink.
