Cozy Missing Mommy
Brad here (for once).
Friday night, Hannah left for TN to help Micah make her baby announcements (she faked labor so Hannah and Claudia would come down). Anyway, Cozy cried a little after we prayed that night for Mommy.
Saturday evening, on my way home from yet another victorious day of volleyball where I scored many a point and played very ...sorry, on our way home, with Cozy up front with me, I spoke to Hannah on the phone to get the update. Cozy seemed to me to be deep in thought so I asked her what was on her mind. After a couple of "nothing"s and "just something", she says "I'm thinking of something you love very much." I am ashamed to say, my first responses were actually my travel coffee cup (sitting on the dash), and the ipod. I thought of saying my new volleyball before I realized my daughter is not near as shallow as me. So, my next audible guess was "my little Cozette." Wrong again. "Is it something I can hold in my hands?" "Nope" When, I guessed "Hannah" I was informed that she's not little enough to hold in my hands. Don't know about that.
Anyway, It was nice to see that she recognized I missed and loved Hannah. I hope this gives the kids the security they need to get them to the point they better understand God's faithful and true love for them.

Sweet!! Thanks for sharing that, Brad. You must be a GREAT husband that your 5 year old knows what a faithful lover you are.
Mother-in-law
We had so much fun I'm thinking of "faking labor" again tonight. That way Christi can be here too :). I think you're just jealous that you couldn't be here!!!
